About Joshua
I’m a veterinary epidemiologist with an interest in food systems and how they affect global health security, food safety, and their impacts on livelihood sources and economies. In addition, I have research interests in key themes of global health security, including prioritization of diseases by communities and policymakers; estimation of the impact of diseases on society and on individual farmers and consumers; besides analysing and formulating policies for disease control and prevention; creation of platforms to support outreach and extension services to underserved livestock farmers; and development of policy briefs.
